Helpful travel tips
When traveling before and after weight loss surgery, here are some travel tips that we recommend.
Arrive early at the airport.
You never know how many people will be at the security check or how long it will take to board your flight when coming to San Diego.
Online check-in
Many airlines offer this option to make sure your travel can go as swift as possible
Choosing a seat
It is always best to choose the seats that are at the beginning of the airplane, you board first, there is more legroom, you are closer to the restroom, and the trip may be overall more comfortable.
Travel light
Since you will be most of the time in your hospital gown it will not be necessary to bring more than 2 change of clothing. We strongly recommend just bringing a carry-on bag. A travel pillow is optional.
